This sound pack adds an exciting audio experience to *Cosmic Rage*, compatible across all operating systems supported by Mudlet. The pack downloads necessary assets from the internet, so please make sure that you have sufficient data and storage space available. By default, the package uses .wav files, but if you have the required codecs installed, such as the Clite Standard Package, you can switch to using .ogg files by pressing **Ctrl + Shift + T**.

**Note:** When changing file extensions, the existing files will be deleted and then re-downloaded with the correct extension.
|
|
|
|
The pack offers extensive audio features, including various types of sound, message buffers for seamless navigation, and customizable audio settings. However, please be aware that pitch and panning of sounds are not supported at this time.
|
|
|
|
### **Audio Features:**
|
|
- **Music:** Enjoy a range of immersive music tracks designed for public planets, with more additions planned for the future.
|
|
- **Ambience:** Atmospheric sounds are available for most locations, from access tubes to mountains.
|
|
- **Communication Sounds:** Enhanced UI sounds for channels like chat, OOC, and more.
|
|
- **Immersive SFX:** Experience custom-crafted sound effects for various activities, from ship launches to pollution repair activities and even baby sounds!
|
|
|
|
### **Buffer System:**
|
|
The sound pack supports buffers that allow you to easily navigate certain channel messages with specific keystrokes, avoiding the need to scroll back. Buffers are particularly useful during high-activity periods. For more detailed information, refer to the in-game help.
|
|
|
|
### **Keystrokes for Soundpack Volume and Behavior:**
|
|
|
|
- **F5:** General volume
|
|
- **F6:** Ambience volume
|
|
- **F7:** Communication volume
|
|
- **F8:** Music volume
|
|
- **Ctrl + F5:** Clocks volume
|
|
- **Ctrl + F6:** Combat music volume
|
|
- **Ctrl + F7:** IC social volume
|
|
- **Ctrl + F8:** OOC social volume
|
|
- **Alt + F5:** Ground combat volume
|
|
- **Alt + F6:** Harvesting volume
|
|
- **Alt + F7:** Salvage volume
|
|
- **Alt + F8:** Games volume
|
|
- **Shift + F5:** Ship combat volume
|
|
- **Shift + F6:** Ship volume
|
|
- **Shift + F7:** Ship movement volume
|
|
- **Shift + F8:** Vehicle volume
|

- **F9:** Toggle IC social sounds
|

- **F10:** Toggle OOC social sounds

|

- **Alt + F12:** Restart soundpack
|
|
- **F2:** Open server-side settings
|

### **Buffer Navigation Keys:**
|
|
- **Alt + Shift + Right:** Add a new buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Shift + Left:** Delete a buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Left:** Navigate to the previous buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Right:** Navigate to the next buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Page Up:** Scroll up 10 messages
|
|
- **Alt + Page Down:** Scroll down 10 messages
|
|
- **Alt + Up:** Navigate to the previous message
|
|
- **Alt + Down:** Navigate to the next message
|
|
- **Alt + #:** Jump to a specific buffer number
|
|
- **Alt + Home:** Go to the top of the buffer
|
|
- **Alt + End:** Go to the bottom of the buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Delete:** Clear the current buffer
|
|
- **Alt + Shift + Delete:** Clear all buffers
|
|
|
|
### Installation
|
|
The pack is not currently hosted in the Mudlet package repository. To install it, connect to the MUD and execute the following command:

|
